It's September - the time of year when people think back-to-school and back to work. After years of reinforcement, most everyone settles back into their regular routines as they say goodbye to the more carefree summer months.

But as a Dating Coach, I'm going to challenge you a bit by asking "Why?" How necessary is it for you to revert back to a life of habit, hard work and less fun, just because the season is about to change?

What would happen if you could maintain that more open persona, friendlier spirit and willingness for spontaneity? How would your dating life differ if you held onto your summer attitude all year round?

Here's what I think. You'd have a better chance of meeting new people for a longer period of time. OK, now I understand that as the weather gets cold, people often want to hibernate. But you have MONTHS before the frigid weather is upon you.

So what if you could extend that summer attitude into Halloween? That's an additional two months! Who knows how many more people you might meet in that time frame.

Stretch that summer friendly spirit into the Autumn season. Throw in a pinch of "What the heck?" attitude (the willingness to try new things), sprinkle in a dash of "Who's next thinking?" (there are countless singles to meet so don't get hung up on the one who got away) and continue meeting prospects until the snowflakes fall. Now that's a recipe for fall dating success!
