Red crushed velvet,
swaying with music,
violet flowers
in sensual bloom.

Taunting Men,
with bosoms bare,
shimmering eyes and long
dark hair.

Self indulgence,
reaps this room,
scattering lust,
vixens brew.

Daunting lyrics,
rhythmic sighs,
careless fury,
haunting cries.

My name is Wendy Wise and I am 33 years old, I have been writing poetry since I was a young girl, I have written over 300 poems and short stories, I have been published several times and soon plan to publish a book of poetry. My style of writing is never the same, I enjoy surprising people with my unique way of changing my style. I am proud to say, I recently received the Editors Choice Award with the International Poets Society and a nomination for the World Champion. My drive to write is, I love to warm the hearts of people and to maybe bring a little light to a persons life, who feels surrounded by darkness. Thank you and I hope you enjoy.
