Not all men are slobs. In fact, many men enjoy a clean home just as much as women do.

When you are planning to have a woman over either before or after your date you will want to make sure your home is more than clean. You want to create an atmosphere that fosters romance.

• Display fresh flowers. You do not have to spend a lot of money here. Just a couple of nice vases with cut, fresh flowers on the kitchen table and on your coffee table will do. A woman will appreciate this more than you will ever know.
  
• Spruce up your bedroom. If your comforter has seen better days, then replace it with something sleek and soft to the touch. Make sure you have matching sheets and pillow cases. Remove all traces of any other woman who might have been there; pictures, cards, or clothes.
  
• Scent the air everywhere. Choose a soothing scent like lavender or a clean linen scent to spray in every room in your home.
  
• Prepare a tray with wine and cheeses. Get a nice serving tray and set it up where it can be seen when she comes in. Have a good bottle of wine and glasses already set up. Store a selection of cheeses and fruit in the fridge to present to her.
  
• Music. You may love rap but go for something softer when you are bringing a date home. Choose jazz or find out, in advance, her favorite singer and have that playing in the background. Do not forget to set your CD player to repeat.

The whole point is to enhance her perception of you by presenting your home in a particular way, romantic. She will be impressed and you will be rewarded.
