1. Smooth-talking. I've read all the books about how to get a girl excited and they always tell you to maintain control and not to give off too much interest. I didn't believe the books so I had to try for myself - and I found out that smooth talking sometimes CAN work. It was unexpected, but when I gave many compliments to a girl I was making out with, she digged it and got more excited.

However, the important point here is - she has to be already interested in you for smooth talking to work. It's a very delicate balance - if you play this card too far, you can easily kill the attraction she feels. So smooth talking definitely is a no-no - the books are right, do not telegraph your intentions or your interest in the very beginning.

2. Telling her what you want to do with her. I also tried to see if this really doesn't work - the books say don't do it. I found the same thing applies here - she has to already be into you, and it can go down well. But when she totally isn't thinking about sleeping with you, she's going to be hugely turned off when you tell her you want to get sexual with her.

This is why pick up lines like "hey baby, want to come home with me?" do not work - women get turned off by blatant sexuality. They need anticipation and tension in the air before ANYTHING can happen.

3. Talking to her. This ties in with point number one - it's very similar, but a bit different. This is what most men try to do in order to get in a woman's pants. They try to have a conversation about stuff that interests her. They have learned to ask questions like "so where did you go to school?" and whatever, and then pretend to be fascinated by the answer.

That is outright manipulative. Why ask a question if you don't care about the answer? You're giving away your self-respect in return for a chance at getting laid. That's not what a self-respecting man does.

Anyway, I found that even the quietest guys could get laid, as long as they are communicating the right things with their quietness. Their body language says more than necessary.
