Yes, it's possible and it can happen. I'm not talking about irrational and "fatal attraction" kind of relationship but a happy "grinning and smiling all day" relationship. No, I am not trying to be idealistic and unrealistic as a matter of fact, I have never been more realistic and pragmatic. For those who are in a ten or more years might say "I love my partner but with all the harsh realities surrounding our affair, I don't know if having a blissful relationship is possible for us anymore, we are more like in a "lukewarm connection" right now. For young lovers out there, they could shout and confirm that having a blissful relationship is possible and doable.

In a new budding love affair, having a blissful relationship is but common, normal and predictable. This is because the new lovers are excited, enthusiastic and is still full of idealism in their new found love. But what I'm talking about is keeping a blissful relationship in spite of the number of years and children you have together. One of the secrets of blissfully relationships is to be grateful. Yes, be grateful of all the laundries lying around your house from the living room to the stares to the room, be thankful for the dirty diapers and sleepless nights, be grateful for early morning calls to prepare breakfast and be thankful for the annoying, demanding and sometimes exasperating partner.

You might frown upon with these suggestions, but really think about it, would you be happier if all of these are gone? Yes, your life would be a lot easier and more quiet but believe me, after a while you will miss the things that annoys you, you will miss the noise, you will miss the demands and yes, believe it or not you will miss those dirty, smelly socks. You see, it's not the perfection in life that makes it beautiful, it's the "incommodious" and the "bothersome" things that makes life memorable and meaningful. It's the things that exasperate you that make you appreciate the little pleasures in life.

It's the things that "irate" you that in the end make you feel that you belong. Further secrets of blissful relationships are to accept and internalize the fact that your partner is not perfect and will never be perfect and as time goes by he will be far from being perfect and so are you. If you accept this truth then both of you will learn to humble yourselves and work on and deal with everyday problems in a more realistic, patient and "human" way. Perfection is just a statement of mind- if you know this by heart and by mind, you can never ask for more from you partner except to accept him as he and that's when he becomes perfect- perfectly flawed, that is.

All is but the power of the mind. To have a blissful relationship, change your point of view, change how you see things. Especially in sex and intimacy see it as a gift, a privilege, a beautiful thing to behold and to feel not an obligation that you should do. Be more grateful and appreciative. Countless of people suffer and die from unrequited or unreciprocated love every day. Again to have a deliriously blissful relationship, be grateful that the person you love is with you, even if he or she gets in your nerves sometimes.
