When little girls want to get a boys attention, they often learn that little boys want to be with a girl that can act like a boy. They have to play rough and hard and not be afraid of getting dirty or slinging bugs. In high school, teenage girls learn that boys are unfortunately only after one thing: boobs. They invest in push up bras and low cut shirts and they flaunt their assets in hopes of a date to prom.

In adulthood, what guys like is a combination of both. But getting one of them to truly connect with you can seem like a near impossible task. Getting a date is one thing, but getting a partner is another concept entirely. This is partially because until a man is ready, it doesn’t matter who crosses his path; he will not commit. Women like to believe that they can change men, or that they can single handedly turn a player into a Sunday church attendee. Unfortunately it doesn’t work like that.

Until a man is ready to commit, he won’t. There are however, some things a woman can do that will enhance her ability that can make him more likely to commit to her.

One of the main components to making this work is to not cave in to sexual advances too quickly. If he bails because the sex doesn’t come fast enough, you can bet he is a man who wasn’t going to be ready to commit too soon anyway. {So keeping your legs crossed can actually help to weed out the men who aren’t looking for forever potential.

The next step is to captivate a man from the very beginning of the relationship. Engage in the topics he finds interesting, and take part in the activities he enjoys. Smile, flirt, and enjoy yourself. The beginning stages of a relationship should be fun, so keeping the heavier topics of life out of the equation is a good idea.

From there, slowly clue him in to different facets of your life. Take him to see a favorite concert of yours and allow him to see you at your goofiest. Embark upon a passionate discussion about a favorite book or charity. Allow him to see different sides of you over a period of time, and he will begin to become hypnotized by the woman you are.

Then when his intrigue is at his peak, you will have made him emotionally dependant upon you. This type of dependency is what men like. Once you've established this pattern with him, you'll have sealed his connection with you.
