So someone new has entered your life … You met a great guy and you are totally head over heels. You’ve already envisioned your wedding and it was everything you’ve ever dreamed of. Now there’s just one thing you must do : get him to feel the same! Knowing what guys like is an imperative if you two are going to live out this dream life you’ve already planned.

Shrinking violets, more often than not, get ignored. So if you like a guy don’t wait around hoping he’ll take the first step. The next time you see him walk by, flash a flirty smile and say hello. Men find a woman who smiles to be quite attractive . Fake the confidence if you must because a confident woman is considered enamoring, at least that's what guys think.

Be patient. Good things come to those who wait. And these things don’t necessarily happen overnight. You can't force someone to like you, and trying to hurry things up can ruin the courtship altogether. Give him some space and let things progress at a natural pace, or fade out of natural causes. Eventually he'll tell you one way or another whether or not he's interested in reciprocating your affection.

Have a good sense of humor. This does not mean being a giggling fool, laughing at everything that crosses your path. Express your sense of humor in your own way.

Some people are witty and sarcastic, others can tell hilarious stories, and many people just do quirky things and poke fun at themselves. No matter what tickles your sense of humor, it's much easier to like someone who you can have a good laugh with once in a while.

Make yourself number one in his mind. So you're not going to walk around with a big foam finger shouting "I'm number one!" But you do want to be unforgettable in his mind. He needs to leave you and not be able to shake you from him memory.

To start doing that, he needs to see that you are interested in him. If he's spending all night talking and you don't respond or ignore his cues, he's going to assume you aren't interested and move on. Respond to him when he says something. Jump into the conversation if you can hold your own and have something to say. Ask questions of him and be attentive during his answers, but don't ask relationship questions!

Look him in the eye and be confident. He will remember your confidence and your willingness to engage him.

But no matter what tricks you try, there is one thing you must always do! You must always yourself! Always, always, always! No one wants to be deceived.

Think of it this way… If a guy was extremely gentlemanly on the first couple of dates and then all of the sudden that went away as the relationship grew, you wouldn’t like that would you? We definitely all put on a good face when we try to impress people but there is a fine line between trying to impress and just being fake. You can never go wrong by being yourself.
