Its not easy for a man to commit to a relationship. Not all men do, but many have difficulty committing even if that is all they really want. While you can't control what he does, you can make it easier for him to feel comfortable making the big commitment to being with you.

These relationship tips will make it easier for him to confide in you. Most women in the world will criticize or offer advice on what they think is right or wrong. While this works with female friends, it does not work with men. They don’t want to feel like you are being their mother or nagging. All you need to do is listen, and then offer additional information later if he asks.

Make your guy feel special above all else. Men have delicate egos and asking the wrong questions can definitely make him feel insecure. Women that ask a flood of questions like “How much money do you make?” are often off-putting. You need to find better ways of getting that kind of information. Make him feel like all of those frilly details aren’t important to who he is.

Be natural and be yourself. Being overly fake or lying about your interests is a problem. If you want him to truly commit to you and stay with you for a long time then keep the facts straight. Don’t pretend to like certain music or sports just for him.

Allow him to be free from constraints. If he enjoys being “dominated” over, then go with it. However, most men do not. Allow him to hang out with friends and keep some of his old habits. Forcing him to change is traumatizing since men are creatures of habit. Try not to force things on him, but if he agrees to big changes go with it!

Don’t let him be overzealous in his actions. Meaning, when it comes to you do not let him give or do too much. Even though men are naturally giving and feel that they have to give a lot to the woman they love, it is ok to decline sometimes. Let him know you are not demanding and high maintenance.

The jealousy games are not ideal if you want a man to commit to you. In fact, when you tease and play games you're likely to soon be asking yourself, "How can I get my boyfriend back?" No matter what women’s magazines say, making him jealous of another guy is simply annoying. It shows you are not serious about your relationship and may never be.

In the end if you want to be the woman men adore these are just a few things that can help him become more comfortable with committing to you. Let him come to you instead of applying too much force and you may be surprised!
